Cap Skirring is one of the most beautiful beach destinations in West Africa: 20 km of fine sand, palm trees right to the shore, and a warm ocean year-round. It is the southern tip of the Senegalese Casamance region — culturally distinct from the rest of Senegal: green, tropical, with strong Portuguese influence. Many French own holiday homes here — the airport connects to Paris in high season and to Bissau year-round thanks to Air Bijagos.
