Air Bijagos is the commercial brand operated by the regional airline based at Bubaque International Airport (BQE), Guinea-Bissau. Our regulatory authority is the Guinea-Bissau Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC·GW).

Every booking is confirmed with a unique PNR code (6 characters) once payment is complete. The PNR and the passenger name must match the travel document presented at check-in.

Fares shown on the portal are final and include airport taxes, fees and fuel surcharge. We don't charge hidden card-payment fees.

Scheduled flights: free change up to 24 h before if there's availability on the new date at the same price. Under 24 h, 50% penalty. Free cancellation up to 48 h before (100% refund), between 48 h and 24 h at 50%, under 24 h non-refundable.

Charter: free cancellation up to 48 h before; between 48 h and the flight, 50% penalty.

It is the passenger's responsibility to present valid documents: passport with at least 6 months' validity for international routes, national ID or passport for domestic flights. Visa requirements based on nationality are the passenger's responsibility.

If we cancel a flight due to weather, technical failure or other operational cause, we will reseat the passenger on the next available flight at no cost, or refund 100% of the ticket, at the passenger's choice. We also add a 20% voucher for the next flight.

We operate under VFR (visual flight rules) with light aircraft. The pilot in command has final authority on flight safety and may modify the route, delay or cancel due to weather. Smoking, drinking alcohol on board or disturbing order is prohibited.

Air Bijagos operates under the 1999 Montreal Convention for baggage loss/damage and passenger injury. See our Baggage policy for compensation limits.

Any dispute is governed by Guinea-Bissau law and settled by the courts of Bissau, without prejudice to the consumer's mandatory rights under their country of residence within ECOWAS.
