1.Allowed baggage — scheduled flights
Piper PA-28 (max. 3 pax): 10 kg hold baggage + 3 kg carry-on per passenger.
Cessna 210 (max. 5 pax): 15 kg hold + 5 kg carry-on per passenger.
Guideline dimensions: hold suitcase max. 55 × 40 × 20 cm; carry-on max. 40 × 25 × 15 cm.
2.Extra baggage
Additional kilos: 2,000 CFA/kg up to 50% of the allowed weight per passenger. If you need more, book the whole aircraft via private charter.
3.Special baggage
Surfboards, kitesurf gear, fishing equipment or professional tripods: 15,000 CFA supplement with 72-hour notice required. May occupy a seat if very bulky.
Folding wheelchairs travel free. Let us know at booking.
4.Items forbidden on board
- Weapons of any kind.
- Explosives, pyrotechnics, ammunition.
- Flammable liquids, pressurised gases, aerosols over 100 ml.
- Loose lithium batteries over 100 Wh.
- Drugs and narcotics.
- Machetes, knives and sharp tools (hold only, never in the cabin).
5.Pets
Small dogs (<8 kg) and cats travel in a carrier under the seat with a 12,000 CFA supplement. Vaccination card, valid rabies certificate and a vet certificate issued within 72 h are required for international routes. Large dogs only in private charter with prior approval.
6.Lost or damaged baggage
On small aircraft your baggage travels with you, so loss is extremely rare. If it happens, we apply the 1999 Montreal Convention limits: up to 1,288 SDR (~1,700 EUR) per passenger. Report the incident at the counter before leaving the airport.
7.Recommendations
- Bring light, packable clothing — tropical climates don't require bulky luggage.
- Print or save a digital copy of your PNR — signal isn't always available in Bubaque.
- Protect electronic devices from dust and humidity.
- Tag your bag with visible name and phone number.
